Compliance & trust

Every call checked. Every company's data kept apart.

What Ringin checks before, during and after each call, whether your team or an AI agent places it, and how your data and your leads' data are protected.

Compliance built in

Every call is checked before, during and after it is placed

Ringin’s servers check each call before any phone company is contacted, whether it was dialed automatically or by hand. If a check cannot run, the call is not placed.

  1. Before the call

    Checked on the server

    • The company and campaign are active and allowed to call.
    • The number is a full, valid number in a permitted country, never an emergency or short code, and on no do-not-call list (nor, for a sales call without written consent, the national registry).
    • It is inside calling hours in the lead’s own time zone, and within the rules of the lead’s state.
    • The lead has not been called too often or too recently.
    • AI calls go only to leads whose consent covers the call’s purpose.
    • The company is within its daily and simultaneous-call limits.
  2. During the call

    Opt-outs caught live

    • Optional AI detection hears when a lead asks not to be called.
    • A clear request suppresses the number at once; an unclear one goes to review.
    • AI agents say they are AI (on by default, and always when asked), and put anyone who asks on the do-not-call list during the call.
    • Agents can mark any contact as do-not-call from the call screen.
    • A call is ended when its length limit or the company’s minutes run out.
  3. After the call

    Recorded and reviewed

    • Every block and detection is logged with its reason, campaign and agent.
    • Every consent is kept as a record nobody can change, and the page it came from is checked against your websites.
    • AI calls keep their recording, transcript and summary in the call history for review.
    • A risk score per company can restrict or pause calling.
    • Admins mark review items handled; notifications flag what needs attention.

Ringin gives you the tools; each company stays responsible for the calling laws that apply to it. How the checks work →

Trust & compliance

Built to keep your data and your reputation safe

🔒 Security

  • Each company’s leads, calls and settings are kept separate. Every request is limited to the signed-in user’s own company.
  • Phone account credentials, for RingCentral and Twilio alike, are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored and are never shown again.
  • Every action is checked on the server according to the user’s role: agent, supervisor or admin.
  • Lead phone numbers can be hidden from each agent. Hidden numbers are withheld by the server on every screen, not just covered up on the page.
  • Recordings play through short-lived links, with access checked on every request. Each play and download is audited, and recordings are deleted after the number of days you choose.
  • Voicemail detection sends only the lead’s side of the first seconds of a call for speech-to-text, and Ringin does not store that audio. Busy tones are recognized in the browser itself.
  • Live opt-out detection never stores a full transcript. Only the phrase that triggered a detection is kept, and it is erased after 90 days.
  • AI calls are recorded and transcribed for your call history, and Ringin does not use your leads’ data to train AI models.
  • An audit log records who changed what and when, without ever storing secret values; a change made by Ringin’s own staff shows as Ringin.

📋 Responsible use & consent

  • Only call people you have a lawful basis to contact, and keep proof of consent where the law requires it.
  • Add anyone who asks not to be called to your do-not-call list. Ringin will not dial that number again.
  • Set each campaign’s calling hours to the rules that apply where your leads live. Ringin checks every call against them, and against your limits, before it is placed.
  • Ringin places one call per agent and never dials ahead, and an AI call is answered by the AI itself, so nobody picks up to silence while waiting for a free agent.
  • Give AI agents only leads with the consent their calls need: express written consent for sales calls. Confirm it per lead, or once for a whole campaign, and keep the proof.
  • Keep emergency, public-safety and healthcare lines off your lists. Ringin cannot dial emergency short codes at all.
  • Keep a recording announcement on where everyone on a call must agree to recording, such as California and Florida.
  • Ringin reviews every new company before it may call, and may pause any company whose calls put people at risk.
